This course is designed to give you a better understanding and appreciation of Hip-Hop and street dance culture.  In this 8-week course we will cover; the history of hip-hop, hip-hop vocabulary, technique, rhythm and musicality, rock, bounce and groove foundations, 25+ iconic party grooves, social dancing and more.

The goal is that by the end of this course you will walk away with a new appreciation for the art form and culture, and start to develop your own, unique style.  After completing this program, you’ll be able to move on to Hip-Hop drop-in classes and a wide variety of other open style choreography classes which draw on Hip-Hop’s foundations.

Meet your instructor: Ronuelle Teodoro
Founder and creator of UnderGods dance crew, Ronuelle has a deep passion for hip-hop dance and a dedication to sharing his knowledge. Ronuelle has worked with renowned artists and choreographers in the industry. He believes that dance is "poetry in motion," a powerful form of self-expression and connection. As an experienced instructor, he will guide you on your journey into the captivating world of hip-hop dance, providing support and encouragement as you take your first steps.
